The Wonder of Tidying Up After Decorating with Flowers

The season is getting better and colorful flowers are starting to bloom when I walk around town.

I’m not the one who diligently buy a bouquet and decorates the room with it, but this season, my eyes definitely go to the flowers.

And when you decorate a room with flowers, somehow you want to make the room clean. Because you want to make the flowers look beautiful…right?

For example, hydrangeas.

When you feel “too much” to the volume of hydrangeas in your garden, you can cut one and make it into a beautiful arrangement by taking them apart and sticking them into a flowering oasis, as shown in the photo above, and then adding something different. Did you know that hydrangeas can be divided into bunches like broccoli if you remove all the leaves? I just learned this the other day.

The green one poking out is “kirigakure (I couldn’t find a scientific name)”. The dark purple ones poking out are basil.

Even if I only put one flower in a vase, my eyes will be drawn to it every time I enter the bathroom.

When I feel bothersome even to buy them, or to change the water every day, I bring the flower pot by the window and look at them through the window.

But one thing I’m sure is that in order to display the flowers neatly, you naturally start to clean up the things around them.

You will want to tidy up the cabinet tops in order to put flowers on them. You will want to tidy up around the window in order to see the flowers through the window.

Why not decorate with flowers and make it a chance to clean up?
