How to Hang Knitwear‐‐What is Good About Hanging

How to Make Hangers for Knitwear
What you need to prepare are:
- A wire hanger or a dry cleaner’s hanger
- A thin towel
- 2 rubber bands or 2 pieces of string
Wrap the towel around the top part of the hanger. Just like that! The trick is to hook the towel to the inside of the hanger and then start wrapping it.
Make sure to wrap the towel tightly around the end of the roll as well.
The key is to create volume at the beginning and end of the roll. You don’t have to try hard for the part in-between.
To be sure, you can use rubber bands or string to secure both ends of the towel to prevent it from coming undone. If you can wrap the towel tightly, you don’t need them.
Please try to hang knitwear on it. But be sure to insert the hanger from the bottom, never from the neck hole.
When you want to wash all your knitwear at once but don’t have a place to hang them, you can hang as many as you want with these hangers!
However, if the knitwear is wet, it will be heavy, so hang it to dry with the sleeves over the shoulders as shown in the photo (below). If you don’t, the knit will lose its shape due to the weight. When it is dry to some extent, you can take down the sleeves.
